A Letter from the Executive Director
Dear Families, Welcome to Anna’s House School! Here, we are not just educators; we are passionate advocates for your child's academic journey. Nestled within the secure campus of Virginia’s School for the Deaf and the Blind, Anna’s House stands as a beacon of academic excellence and unwavering dedication.. When the pandemic brought challenges none of us expected, Anna’s House didn’t back down. Instead, we adapted, reimagined, and created a learning environment filled with resilience, care, and innovation. Our team of educators worked tirelessly to ensure that no child’s education was put on hold, turning a time of uncertainty into a season of possibility. Today, our curriculum reflects that same commitment to excellence and creativity. With project-based learning, Spanish, Chapel, and a rich variety of arts and music, we’re here to spark curiosity, encourage discovery, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Looking ahead, we see a bright future for our students and our community. Together with you, we’ll continue to build a school where children grow academically, socially, and emotionally—one step at a time. For families in Staunton, Augusta, Waynesboro and beyond, Anna’s House is a place of hope, opportunity, and celebration. We’re excited to walk this journey with you. Welcome to Anna’s House School—where your child’s potential is at the heart of everything we do. |
"In an ideal world, children and adults should always be learning and growing. In the course of opening Anna's House, I have found myself learning more than I ever imagined. We need to respect the process of learning in all individuals and model this to our children if we are going to change the world. We joy in doing this here at Anna's House!" Christi Crittenden
