Program Overview
At Anna’s House School, we create an enriching learning environment where small class sizes, hands-on projects, and community engagement inspire curiosity and confidence. Through our dynamic, student-centered approach, we empower learners to think critically, solve problems creatively, and build meaningful connections inside and outside the classroom.

Community Involvement
Project Based Learning
These programs are designed to enhance learning, foster mentorship, and build confidence.
Mission - Spiritually, Physically, Academically & Socially:
Our mission is to nurture each individual's growth—spiritually, physically, academically, and socially—within a supportive and respectful environment. We strive to cultivate a love of learning, independence, and self-confidence while fostering a strong sense of community.
Educational Philosophy & Pedagogy:
At Anna’s House, we believe in fostering a nurturing environment that respects each child's individuality while supporting their holistic development—body, mind, and spirit. Our approach emphasizes project-based learning, empowering students to explore, experiment, and apply knowledge in meaningful ways. Through hands-on experiences, we cultivate self-discipline, build self-esteem, and encourage a love of learning. Our structured yet flexible classrooms provide an atmosphere of order and respect, where students develop critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and information retention skills. By engaging in collaborative, real-world projects, children strengthen their ability to analyze, innovate, and connect with others thoughtfully and compassionately.
Individualism and Diversity:
At Anna’s House School, we are committed to fostering an educational environment that embraces individualism while valuing the diverse perspectives that shape our collective understanding. We believe that pursuing knowledge thrives when students are encouraged to think independently, express their unique ideas, and engage in meaningful dialogue with others who may hold differing viewpoints.
Through a curriculum grounded in intellectual curiosity, respectful discourse, and a culture of open-minded exploration, we cultivate a community where students are empowered to develop their own identities while appreciating the richness that diversity of thought brings. We recognize that true learning is not simply the accumulation of knowledge, but the ability to challenge assumptions, critically analyze perspectives, and refine one's beliefs through thoughtful engagement.
Supporting Your Child’s Learning Needs at Anna’s House School
How We Partner with Families to Provide Comprehensive, Individualized Support
At Anna’s House School, we recognize that every child is a unique learner. For students who benefit from additional support, we are committed to providing services that are not only comparable to what public schools offer through an Individualized Education Program (IEP), but often go further—thanks to our holistic, child-centered approach, and our intentionally small class sizes.
We will Honor and Follow the Full IEP
If your child is a good fit for Anna's House School and has a current public-school IEP and you provide us with a copy, we will:
Implement the IEP in full through our Special Services Plan.
Collaborate with you and public school partners to ensure all documented accommodations and goals are supported.
Maintain transparency and open communication about your child’s progress and evolving needs.
In fact, public school districts will continue to support the Special Services Plan, even while your child is enrolled at Anna’s House School. This means your child continues to benefit from public resources in addition to what we offer.
Individualized Support Beyond the IEP
Public schools typically offer support in small groups a few times a week. At Anna’s House, we go a step further by offering:
One-on-one or small group instruction with our Reading and Curriculum Specialists.
Integrated classroom support from teachers who are trained to differentiate instruction and provide ongoing, personalized attention.
Close collaboration between classroom teachers, specialists, and families to adapt goals and methods throughout the year.
Small Class Sizes = More Attention, Greater Growth
One of the most significant advantages we offer is the intimacy of our learning environment:
Smaller classes mean your child is truly seen, known, and supported every single day—not just during scheduled pull-outs.
Teachers have the time and space to nurture strengths, support challenges, and celebrate growth as it happens.
Your child is not just a student in the system—they are a valued member of a loving, supportive community.
A Whole-Child Approach
Our approach is never limited to academic benchmarks. We care deeply about your child’s emotional, social, and spiritual development. Students with learning differences often thrive in our nurturing, inclusive environment because they:
Feel safe and supported.
Build confidence and self-advocacy skills.
Develop lifelong habits of resilience and joy in learning.
In Partnership with You
We know that families are the most important advocates for their children. At Anna’s House, we listen. We partner. We adapt. And we walk this journey with you every step of the way.
If you have questions about how we can support your child’s unique learning path, or if you’d like help navigating the IEP or Special Services Plan process, we’re here to help.
Let’s talk about how Anna’s House can be the right place for your child to learn, grow, and thrive.
