A Letter from the Executive Director
Dear Families, Welcome to Anna’s House! We are a group of committed educators who understand and value the quality of care as a part of your child’s education. We are excited to be able to provide a beautiful small school setting for our families in the lovely, secure campus of Virginia’s School for the Deaf and the Blind. Anna’s House did not anticipate opening during a pandemic, and yet we did this very thing and we have thrived! It is our hope that we will continue to be a blessing to families in the Staunton/Augusta/Waynesboro area. Chapel, project-based learning, Spanish, music and art are just a few of our offerings. Being a fully licensed program as a child care facility we are an essential service providing continual education and care of students. Our goal at Anna’s House is to provide the highest quality education for children in a safe environment. That has different meaning in today’s world than it did just a year ago. We take every precaution as we continue to understand best practices with new viruses that can affect our in-person learning programs. The Teachers and I commit to update our precautions as we plan for the future. We are confident that your children will get the best education and care at Anna’s House! |
